Our pili fruits are hand harvested from the Bicol region of the Philippines. Magical pili trees grow here in volcanic soil nourished by organic minerals and abundant rainfall.

Small machetes otherwise known as bolos are used to crack open the hardy shell of the pili nut.  A Bicolano shell expert does this over a wooden board purely by using hands sense, precision, controlled strength and speed.
